I HAVE TWO WHOLE READERS! Plus more of my musings...

How exciting. Thank you, Lauren, for you comment. Makes me feel like it's worth it to write. Ha ha And since last night's post was virtually dedicated to Sarah, let me dedicate this one to my dear Lauren...

SHE'S COMING TO VISIT!!!!!!! So it's like a million weeks away (or 7... but still) but I'm so excited that I can't even stand it.

Moving on........

Today I had training all day for my job on campus. I'm tutoring 1st graders in math and I can assure you that I'll either love it to death or absolutely hate it. I'm not leaving much room for in-between liking in there, I know, but it's me and I tend to not be a middle of the road person.

I had my 2nd class today. My professor is dreamy in that "wow, you're a professor and you happen to be wearing a nice tie" sort of way but he's also rather odd. And seeing that his wife also teaches in my department, it pretty much kills the "dreamy professor-ness." Besides, I don't really dig professors in that way. I'm just sayin...

It's still hot here. Hotter than yesterday even. I moved my car about 50 times today because I'm too cheap to buy a parking permit when really, I won't be on campus all that much anyway, and every time I had to walk about 100 miles to get back to campus. Or 3 blocks. But when it's 90-some degrees outside and you're wearing long pants in an effort to look professional for work, it gets rather steamy out. And let me tell you that damp little sweat spots on your back and wet circles under your armpits just about negate the long pants, professionalism notion. Not that an adorable girl like me would ever have damp sweat spots on her back... And I must remind you all that, unlike Augsburg, Vanderbilt's campus is very large. My college has a rather small space compared to the entire campus and it's still bigger than Auggie. Makes for a lot of walking, plenty of blisters, and even more sweat.

My least favorite thing about Nashville is the sweating apparently.

And that is all for this evening, my 2 friends. I was bored so I thought I'd get in the habit of writing... xoxo
